What Heart I Have Left--Toriano Davis

Painfully, I move in the darkness
With the wind moving through the gaping hole
That is my heart, or at least what remains.
Slowly deteriorating into the black hole that it is,
Pieces wearing as thin as the air we breathe,
And expelling them as if it was exhaled into nothing.
As I search for the pieces, I suddenly realized why
I left my heart with you, and you broke it,
Continuously.
